Calgary Braces for Plummeting Temperatures and Snowfall This Week |
Residents should prepare for a significant drop in temperatures and increased snowfall as the week progresses. |
Calgarians are advised to brace for a sharp decline in temperatures and the arrival of snowfall as the week unfolds.
According to recent forecasts, the city will experience a notable drop in temperatures, with highs reaching only 5°C (41°F) on Tuesday, December 9, before plummeting to -18°C (0°F) by Friday, December 12.
Snowfall is also expected to accompany the cold snap, with intermittent snow and flurries anticipated on Thursday and Friday, accumulating up to 1 cm.
These conditions mark a significant shift from the relatively mild weather experienced earlier this month.
Residents are encouraged to take necessary precautions, such as dressing in layers, ensuring vehicles are winter-ready, and staying informed about weather updates.
As always, it's essential to stay prepared and exercise caution during these winter conditions. |
