Tommy, the Birman cat from Bucharest, Romania, shares his life story. At 10 years old, Tommy's favorite activities include sleeping and meditating on the stone fence, watching street life. He recalls his best friend, Masha, a German Shepherd, who sadly passed away. Tommy's peaceful life was disrupted by the arrival of Laska, a playful kitten who gave birth to a litter of kittens in the family home. Despite initial reservations, Tommy stepped in as a father figure for the kittens. Three were adopted, but one stayed with the family. Tommy also recounts the arrival of Coffee, a hyperactive puppy, and his experiences of being held hostage by well-meaning but misguided humans. Tommy, the intellectual cat, reflects on his family's love for animals and the challenges they bring. |
